| Monarch Ball, 2011 More than 850 guests enjoyed the 17th annual Monarch Ball at the Fairmont Chicago. Special guests Jesse White and Billy Ocasio presented a proclamation from the Governor to Resurrection Health Care's Sponsors. Dick Johnson, Francis Cardinal George and Irish soprano Catherine O'Connell delighted Ball goers. Other highlights included dance and creative movement from Duo Voltart and Shape Expressions. With generous support from Superior Ambulance, Power Construction, B&B Maintenance and dozens of business and individual partners, the 2011 Monarch Ball raised more than $895,000. Linda Hay of Alholm, Monahan, Klauke, Hay & Oldenburg won the first raffle for a naming opportunity at an RHC facility. The 2011 Monarch Ball supports the overall mission of Resurrection Health Care including major initiatives such as electronic health records, mission-based programs including clinics for the underserved, and Centers of Excellence such as the new Heart Institute. Monarch Ball guests support crucial health care services throughout Chicagoland. |
